It's All Worth It

Some things make all the stress, frustrations and craziness disappear. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my babies.

Elefun!

So...Daddy has been gone on his "Euro tour" for 11 days and we have 7 days to go until his return....so keeping busy has been challenging at times (to say the least.) Yesterday Mommy broke down and bought us Elefun...we love it! I catch butterflies and Izzy...well, she tries! We miss Daddy and can't wait for him to come home and play with us!
(Oh yea...not sure what exactly is going with Wren's attire...she decided to wear her pj bottoms as a sash for some reason?)

The Dentist

"The Dentist" is no longer just one of Izzy's nicknames (since I might consider her insane likeness for and skill at brushing a hobby), but is now an event that will occur every 6 months (insurance permitting) for the rest of their lives!
Wren had her first official visit on Friday and went GREAT! She got to play video games while she waited (Ms. pac man) and she even got a new toothbrush! She's a "Great Brusher" with no cavities and (fortunately or unfortunately) she can keep her passy for at least 6 more months. So here are the pics!

The Beach

On Saturday we left for Gulf Shores, Alabama. It was a very long drive and Mommy said we did REALLY well for such a long car ride. Aside from Izzy projectile vomiting after 4 hours (we think she was car sick) it went well and we LOVE the beach. We also LOVE our cousins! They played in the pool with us, built us a sandcastle, and watched movies with us!

The Butterfly Show

Last Friday Mommy and Daddy took us to the Krohn conservatory for the Butterfly Show. First we had a picnic in the Magnolia garden then we went in to see the butterflies. It was AWESOME!! Izzy was sad when her butterfly flew off her arm and I wouldn't share the ones on my arm with anyone!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE playing with our cousins Tyler and Keller.....They came over dinner and we had so much fun playing and picking strawberries from daddy's garden.
Izzy was so gross at dinner Keller almost barfed and she was very suspicious in the strawberry bed!

Edible Art

Since one of our budding artists (Izzy) still likes to eat crayons, markers etc. We decided to do some edible art. We made sugar cookies and had different colored icing to paint them! It was fun (and tasty!)

Play Date with Milo!

We love our BFF Milo. Usually we meet up at the zoo or park but last week he come to our house and we had a BLAST!

BREAKING NEWS!!!!

Last weekend Izzy "pooped on the potty". Well, actually, she pooped on the floor and I put it in the potty and made a big production of it.
Wren, not to be outdone by her baby sister, decided to give it a try on her own accord that night. Since Saturday, she hasn't looked back to the days of the diaper.
After all the constipation, the endless doses of miralax and trips to the pediatrician it is safe to say she his OFFICIALLY potty-trained!!!!
We are so proud! And in return for her efforts she received the coveted light up Buzz Lightyear (some of you may remember the screaming,crying and begging for said toy at Epcot on our most recent Disney vaca.)

Mamma's Day

What a great day! We had so much fun today playing in the backyard and (our favorite) catching caterpillars with our mommy!

Potty Party

Mom has been trying to get me to go on the potty for months now. Izzy is eager to get in on the "fun" so we had a potty party with lot's of juice and popcorn while we watched Monster's Inc. on our potties! It was fun. Izzy peed on the floor and I managed to pee in the potty although #2 is not so easily given up.

You got your basket and I got mine!

So mom finally got a new computer and a new camera!!!yay!!! now we can post updates so everyone can see what we have been up to. Although I will warn you Izzy is increasing difficult to take photos of as she WILL NOT be still :) and Wren has "her camera" that she insists taking her own photos with and so has very little time to get her pic taken!

Disneyworld 2008

Right before Thanksgiving our Nonna and Grampa took us to Disneyword!!! It was Izzy's first time but I am a veteran disney go-er! We had a GREAT time with our cousins and I got to ride a roller coaster and Izzy took her first steps! We are looking forward to going back to Disney in February with all our friends!More pics coming soon
